Love the one you’re with

Computers have feelings too, at least according to this humorous yet touching video that my team made for a project:
The message: love the computer you already have. Upgrade it, don’t replace it. You save money and effort, and the world saves power and landfill space. Win-win!
I’m really happy with the way the video turned out. I was behind the camera and ran the editing station, but the whole thing was very much a team effort.
Interesting side note, theres a pretty popular vlog channel on YouTube I check out a lot, http://www.youtube.com/vlogbrothers , and they have your video featured on their main page right now.
Cool!
I agree with your message. Buy more RAM! Especially low-voltage, fast transfer rate computing DDR3! Or even graphics GDDR5 for your multimedia needs!
/end ulterior motive
I love it. Great msg. I just wish more people felt that way. (It seems I run a home for old, wayward, lost, and otherwise homeless computers and laptops) -d
If you’re one of the people who feel that “as long as my message reaches one person, then I’ve made a difference” then you should feel proud. Seriously, after watching you’re video I looked up laptop memory on newegg and realized I can get 2 gigs of RAM for my shitty ‘ol Rose laptop (the one I was planning to toss at the boiler house next homecoming) for less than $50. And I can throw in a new wireless card for a pretty good price. I think people who buy laptops never realize that they have a certain amount of upgradability. I actually kinda excited to see how it turns out now – but of course if it’s a failure I’m blaming it all on you.
Glad to hear it! The RAM and wireless card should help. For even more of a boost, you can wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows.
