Simpsons Movie

Much to my astonishment, the Simpsons Movie did the series justice. I laughed out loud many times in the theater, as did my friends and almost everybody else in attendance. The script was sharp, the production values were high, and the humor was witty. In one word: woo-hoo!

i agree – the movie was well done…i laughed more than a few times and definitely walked away feeling that the movie did the series more than justice. despite this, i’m finding myself liking the old style of animation more than this new 3-D stuff they’re pulling with these 2-D models…
Yeah, I don’t mind computer-aided animation, but all of those 3D-to-2D effects seem a bit vulgar.
