Snooze button
June 28th, 2007
The snooze button is like candy. You know it’s bad for you, but it’s just so good in the short term.
I’ve found myself hitting the snooze button more and more lately. Nine minutes at a time, I delay the start of my day, and that’s a shame.
For the past few days, I’ve abstained from snooze button use and woken up at my clock’s first buzz. As a result, I’ve been feeling refreshed, productive, and energetic. Look out, world!
(This post is part of the 100/100/100 challenge)
I don’t set an alarm, unless I have to wake up extremely early or I’m taking a nap. I haven’t set an alarm since at least high school. Even then, it was rare. Usually if I want to wake up at a particular time, as I’m going to sleep I consciously tell myself the current time and the time I want to wake up. I usually wake up a few minutes before the time I wanted. Try it out.
I guess you hit the “snooze button” on the 100/100/100 today. On May 28th you posted about this same topic.
