Short trip, but worth the effort
May 27th, 2007
Two hundred and fifty miles of driving each way. A day spent hiking in the mud, a night spent braving the cold. Yet the peaceful solitude, the rugged beauty of the landscape, and the sunny second-day weather made the negatives merely footnotes on the whole experience.
My backpacking trip, though short, was a complete success. A couple of photos:
- Me on the trail
- An attempt to show the beauty of Blesner Creek

why the edit?
You caught me. Nothing sinister; I just thought it would hold together better with some changes.
For the record, the removed lines were links to an arm’s-length self-portrait and my photoblog.
