    I’m glad that, during my short tenure so far in the corporate world, I have only heard the word “leverage” used in a serious sense. The engineers may joke once or twice about “synergy” within a project’s parts or whatnot…but only as jokes.

    I think I could have used that academic one today. Speaker bashes previous work? “That’s an interesting question”? Results conveniently show improvement? Check, check, and check!
